This was a project comissioned by the North Wales Home and School Association.  The students wanted a mascot to improve school spirit.  It was made out of upholstery foam and anti-pill fleece.  Since I had never done anything like this before, it was quite an effort, getting the whale to be sturdy yet comfortable.  The end product was much admired by students and teachers combined.
